Tuscan LCD group buy
Discussion
Guys,
I have the 'missing lines' problem on my LCD readout on my mk1 Tuscan.
Have managed to track down a supplier with 30 LCD displays in stock. I need to double check the part number, but another thread has told me its MGLS12864T-S-HT-HV-LED04-12.
The part number the supplier has in stock is MGLS12864T-S-HT-HV-LED04, the missing "-12" on the end of the number is actually a viewing angle bias from perpendicular to the LCD, the -12 is a 12 o clock bias i.e above the screen.
Well, any of you who are as sad as me and have a pic of your dash will know that you actually view from a slight 6 o clock bias, i.e. look at the screen from underneath slightly. This display has a 6 o clock bias, so - the contrast will probably be slightly better than standard on this screen.
Who wants one?
£40 0-10 ordered
£30 10-20 ordered
£25 20+ ordered

Hi Rob,
Stick my name down for one, i'm not missing any lines but it does do funny things when it's cold, already replaced it once and if it's cheaper than my last invoice I will be happy.

Mine is fine also but would be interested in having a spare at a cheap price. Pencil me in for now and we will see how many others are interested.............Stick my name down for one, i'm not missing any lines but it does do funny things when it's cold, already replaced it once and if it's cheaper than my last invoice I will be happy.

Sorry to be a newbie but is this simply plug and play? (With a bit of dash dismantling?)
I have no probs with the screen at the moment but might be nice to have one spare incase anything happens to it in the future, especially at these prices.
If so, put me down for one.

Not quite but with a screwdriver and some time and patience it looks fairly simple!I have no probs with the screen at the moment but might be nice to have one spare incase anything happens to it in the future, especially at these prices.
