Hello people, I have done some research on what engine oil I should run in a 2000 Tuscan Speed 6, which has completed very low mileage.
I have been advised on several options:-

10/40w Semi Synthetic
10/40w Fully Synthetic
0/40w Fully Synthetic
5/50w Fully Synthetic
10/60w Fully Synthetic

I would appreciate peoples opinions on what engine oil they use/recommend and why.

Thanks

Noisy

I use 15/50 Mobil 1 Motorsport, only because that's what APM who services it recommended it, although has done 50k on this engine now, only being replaced due to headgasket issue and last time I checked the tappets the cams looked in good condition and not worn so must be doing its job fairly well.

i use 10w60 full synth now
have used 10w40 full synth but that ran through like water (too thin)
used about 1 liter on 500 miles
with the thicker oil used allmost nothing on 1500 miles till now

+1. Tony from HHC recommends (also Fuchs 15/50 as a substitute). Mob 1 15/50 seems to be the way go speaking with Tony and others.

I'm also using Mobil 1 15-50W. I've done 10.000 miles since rebuild so I can not judge if its better or not but it was recommended to me. And in the description it states it was specially developed for engines that need extra protection against wear in the valves drive and for engines that run hot (high performance and turbo engines).
