Last year I was looking for a wind deflector for my Mk 2 convertible but gave up on the idea. grumpy
Today I was googling a bit and came across this e-bay add bounce but unfortunately it was closed 2 days ago with no bids. Bad timing or what. furious

Is there any way to contact a seller on e-bay ?
I've never bought anything there before. confused

I'm in the process of contacting the original manufacturer mentioned in the add but sods law will say they are not interested.

On the right of the screen you can click "Ask a question" - this will send them a message.

I like the 'only one made' bit of the advert? If you can make one, make another!

I'm pretty sure Classic Additions do them - they offered me one when I bought my cover from them. I think they must have put together templates for TVR before they went bust (I know they did with the covers) - so now they just make one up when they get an order.

Think they do a discount for TVRCC members as well.

Thanks for the feedback.
When I try to contact through e-bay I am automatically blocked by their security.
I e-mailed ebay who advised me of the steps which ended up with me getting automatically blocked by e-bay.

I sent an e-mail to Classic Additions last night and today they answered that the deflector had been a one off prototype for TVR and so wasnt available !!!

His "name" is hairyhoover. My last hope is he's on Pistonheads.

Thanks again,
Tony.

Tony - I've contacted him for you through my e-bay account, asking him to either supply me his contact details and I'll pass them onto you or to reply direct to this thread as I've provided a link.
Good luck

Hi "so called",

It was myself who placed the item on e-bay having purchased it from Classic Additions direct.

I'm of a mind to keep the deflector for when I upgrade one day from the mark 1 but will probably lose it or damage it before I get to that stage.

Is the convertible draughty at speed?

Anyway, if you are seriously interested, by all means let me know through this thread with contact details and I'll get in touch. As you've found out, there is unlikely to be another one out there even in the future unless you get one manufactured yourself and CA gave up the idea due to lack of interest.

I'm at Leicester by the way.

Cheers

Hi Martin,
Please to be in contact with you thanks to Zippee.
I was looking for a deflector last year before a trip to Spain but gave up and in reality it was too hot to be driving with the roof down on the motorway runs anyway. The evening driving was at much lower speeds and so wasnt a problem but I would still like to do motorway speeds with the roof down.
The Tuscan 2, for me, isnt as drafty as the Chimaera but any improvement will lower the volume from the better half.
Heading back to Spain in June so would like to sort something out.
I,m in the US at the moment but heading home in 2 weeks time.
Mxy e-mail is in my Pistoneads profile.

Thanks,
Tony.
