Hi,

I'ma new Tvr Tuscan enthusiast from France and now need to learn about my new toy, beginning with the Bonnet service release. I've seen the lock on the front end unlock it but I still can't open the bonnet. I've seen two red handles inside the car on both sides, Do I have to pull them both ?

Thanks

To get the service bonnet to release just make sure the lock on the handle is unlocked, press the lock barrel in slightly and the handle will pop up a fraction. You can then pull the handle to release the catch.

Don't forget there are two further catches on the sides of the service bonnet that you need to release by pulling the edges of the bonnet up - GENTLY! Just get your fingers under the 'pointy' ends of the service bonnet and they should pop up.

Sounds like a pain but in practice takes about 20 seconds.

The two red handles in the cabin are the emergency door release handles, leave them well alone.

HTH!

After releasing the centre pin, use a looped cable tie under each corner of the service bonnet at a time, much easier than yanking each corner.
