Its not that good!, I pay £358 for me and the misses on my Tuscan. Im only 27.Surely it must be a miss quote, they dont normally bang the prices up so you dont take it they just refuse to quote if its not to thir liking.
Where are you people with cheaper prices getting cover from? I need to get mine sorted today last year was with haggerty but they will now only covet pre 1990, I pdid about 450 last year this year best price so far is 700.

Have for many years found A plan to be very competitive, ignore their first quote and tell them what they need to achieve and they frequently get there or there abouts. Adrian Flux seem to be trying quite hard as well .Sagaris on unlimited mileage protected no claims for me and the missus (both in our 40s)is around £400.
tends to help if you can show you have other vehicles to use ie works van / wifes car as i think they assume you will use the nice motor less of the time.

Mines £390 with Haggerty with the Mrs on the policy and limited to 3K miles (£30K to add an additional 10K miles) Im 38. Oh and that's after I wrote off my last Tuscan which was insured with them! It also provides Europe breakdown cover which is handy for Le Mans

Well Haggerty would only quote me on 3000 miles, but just rang to take it out (insurance due today and I'm away in the car, they said sorry not covering anything post 1980 now, can't have any cover at all
seems no one over there really knows what's going on. Shame I had 3 cars on cover with them, looks like Classicline will be taking over from them now. £548 for 3000 miles, which can be extended.

Im with Classicline through Aplan, Hagerty quoted £360 then changed there mind when i went to take it out and would not insure me.
Im 27, no points in last 5 years, 1 nonfault accident, living in Lincoln, car in garage over night. On confused i think the cheapest was 550. Manning were very good too but decided to stay put as they were same price but slightly lower excess with CL.

Have aphone round and get some quotes then play the ones you like best off against each other, like most businesses they want your custom. have found that A Plan have needed a bit of encouragement on pricing they like to send you a renewal that has gone up quite a bit but then they manage to come down in the end. Have reached the stage where I treat renewal time as a game now, I do tend to ignore some of the lowest quotes like to be insured by a company where they have a good reputation for dealing with any claims.
