change the lights to get RDW (dutch) approval
Discussion
Any advice on how to change the lights to get RDW approval in the Netherlands? Maybe a link to a post on this forum explaining that, i couldn't find it...
Thx,
Maurice.
Maurice,
Headlights (dipped beam)
Remove both dipped beamlights. Each light consists of a black housing and a brown housing. The brown part is mounted with 3 screws at the black part. Remove the three screws. Now the brown housing can be lifted of. The brown part is designed to fit in two positions (LHD en RHD) at the black part. Turn it approx. 7 mm anticlockwise en then mount it back with the three screws.
Mount the lights back at the car.
Rear lights
You have to switch over the reverse and fog light. They are glued into place from the inside. Form the inside of the boot I cutted the glue away around the metal fitting as much as possible. By turning the lights I could break the rest of the glue to take the lights out. I assume you don't need instruction to remount the lights and change the wiring. It's quite easy.
Good luck.
Ronald.

Now that i have your attention: would it be possible for me to visit one of you and get into the passenger seat of a Tuscan? I'm really serious about buying one, but would prefer to have experienced one before buying...
No problem to drive a distance for that (from Breda), but Groningen/Friesland is a bit too far...
