Just had the door panel off, to clean up the encoder plug. Is there a difference in the early cars to later ones? The reason I ask is because all that I have behind the panel is two plugs. One of which was heavily corroded and I'll probably replace it. I was expecting to see a pcb or something. Would the encoder be under the transmission tunnel?
Cheers
Phill.
P.S. Window is fine now since cleaning the plug, Oh it's a 2000car on W plate

The encoder is attached to the window motor itself and it's the same on the early cars, like ours. smile
