Thinking of perchasing my first TVR

Hi all,
I currently drive a 2003 BMW M3 convertible but its only used as a weekend car and cant help but fancy something a bit more special to take out on those rare nice summer days we have.
My problem is i dont know a great deal about TVR's, i understand the "S" is the one to get??? I much prefur the look of the tuscan though ie the spoilerless rear and the lights in the rear glass. Whats the big difference between the two? Will i feel short changed getting the tuscan over the tuscan S?
In one thread i would like to learn as much as i can about them lol

The 'one to get' imho is the one in the best condition and best history!
Buy on condition really, most of the models have similar performance, you would have to have some very empty and smooth roads to say an 'S' is quicker than a standard 4.0l, the power output isnt that different.
There is plenty to consider, main one being a good engine history, and if it were me i would want one thats had a TVR Power or Str8 Six rebuild. Beyoned that, good chassis ad interior condition, then servcing & maintenance history. Things like clutches, suspension etc are all things to look for in the history.
I have recently started athread about my first year with a Tuscan in which i thought i had been particularly unlucky, but looking at the responses the list of things i have done is not unusual, i just had it all in 12 months as opposed to spread out
