My Speedo Throws a Wobbly

53 plate Tuscan S

Both the analogue and digital speedo readouts work now and again. Sometimes it'll work all the time, other times the needle will drop to zero, and the digital speed readout will go to zero, then in a few miles will spring back into action again.

Most posts of similar nature seem to have a pod issue, but is mine just a simple clean of the diff sensor ?? or do I have a major expensive part on its way out ?? I've read it somewhere and seen a pic of where the sensor is located, but can't find it now.

Any pointers in the right direction greatfully appreciated.

Sounds to me like the speedo sensor needs adjusted, same symptoms as mine and that was my problem.
