I am upgrading the wipers to the recommended Bosch 21S.

They seem to come as a set 21/21S where the spoiler is only on the drivers side, surely I need them on both?

Thanks Tom

You don't necessarily need a spoiler on both sides, but it is way better to avoid lifting as from 70mph...
A perfect upgrade are the Bosch Aero Twin wipers to retrofit to standard wiper arms as fitted to the Tuscan. Being 'spoilershaped' they do not lift at all.
On the Euro continent it's the A530S - same as for the previous Audi A4 and VW Passat models - and they are different for RHD and LHD cars.

I had this combination on my previous Tuscan as it was only the drivers side that use to lift. Do not seem to have the problem with the Tuscan S MK2/3

Used to have 21/21S on my Tuscan and they were very good. I upgraded to Aerotwin blades of the same length a couple of years ago and they're better still (and quieter).

soapbox Not a genius me, just living in a very rainy part of the world...
and I do not own any Bosch shares...

The Aero Twins also give the car a more up to date look and the visible part through the screen for the driver will slightly increase - some pics:

is this all I need to order for a RHD MK1 Tuscan or do I need to upgrade the wiper arms also?

Cheers

Yep.

You might need to slightly bend the arms towards the screen to ensure the wiper blades are well planted on the surface (a 2 minutes job and no tools needed) and that's it!

Just received mine using this link, but surely they are the wrong way up? Am I being stupid or are these only for left hand drive cars?

Reserection time after a search I'm afraid. Has anybody fitted any of these to the Leven wiper upgrade before I try and wrench off the revised spray bar? I will be contacting Leven but was enquiring from a more practical is it worth it point of view.

Received mine to and yes you are correct these are for left hand drive cars and are also too long at 21" despite the earlier posts saying these were correct.

I have reordered another set, code AR480S which are the correct length and are orientated the right way so that the spoiler faces the right way!

Yeah the AR530 are definitely upside down. However I found they still work better than the original ones, so I've stuck with them for now. Will make a note of the part number you mention though, thanks.

Despite earlier posts 21" fit perfectly wink . You either have different length wiper arms (unlikely) or you've got the wiper arms set at the wrong angle (probably) which is a 2 second fix with a spanner. smile

possibly, they just dont fit on mine though. The passenger side is too long and the end of the wiper sticks out past the windscreen. I'll take a picture in the next couple of days to show what I mean when it's back from a service. I'd be interested to fix the angle of the wiper if it is wrong though, thanks wink

The length of mine are about right (AR530S) but the passenger side does extend an inch or two beyond the curve of the windscreen...

You can bend the wiper itself to fit the screen shape better. It takes a bit of trial and error to get right but it's time well spent.
