Boot strut / damper

Anybody know where to get a replacement one for a Mk2/3 Tuscan S. Mines has decided not to work anymore.

I've tried TVRPower and Clevor Trevor website but they don't look the same type.

Mines has a 1 cm diameter eyelet on each end (Camloc SDA8B2100142B2L-540N-156148-39/04)

Was hoping I could just "pop in" somewhere over the weekend and pick one up.

You could probably select one from the RS Range. They are a bit pricey though.

At a glance it looks like RS part number 182-4661, but you will have to check.

I've just got two stainless ones from struts direct..(vert has one either side)... I made the mistake of putting 400 ewton metre (6 mm) ones on thought they'd be enough...However at Chatworth parked on the hill my boot wouldn't stay up, OK on the flat...So this week new 650 Nm (8mm) came ..very expensive(custom made by Metrol which is Arvin... which is Camloc aswell I think)... http://www.strutsdirect.co.uk/components/stainless...

The 540N means 540 Netwon Metres
Just measure the shaft and barrel diameters and the barrel length and stroke length..two different size ends available but all M6 threads.

Will take a look ta are the covers ready that's on my wish list next?

I assume it's under modifications and that's not working yet will take a peep later.
