Beginning the search for a Tuscan 2 convertible
Discussion
Last year I looked , and found, a Tuscan 2 convertible that I wanted. Eventually agreed a price... Then found a house to buy Almost on the same day, and didn't buy the car. Boo hiss!
So a year on and the building work is finished on the house and I starting to see my cash come back online.. So am starting to think about trying again to get one. There's a couple of tuscans on the register and I was wondering if anybody here can put me in touch with their owners... I am after a black/black one and there's a couple listed. Anybody know their owners or know of similar cars (dark nice colours) that are going to be up for sale?
Maybe thinking out loud isn't a good idea, lol.
Cheers

Yeah guys looked on the convertible register and also thought about getting one of the unfinished resprayed but that's going to take it over my budget. Am kind of hoping somebody might know the guys in the register with black ones ... No rush as funds only come online at the end of June.
Richard Northgates (REJN) car is very nice for sale at Fernhursts ... well cared for with a nice mileage... It's quite a darkish blue (Montreal) and its an 'S' (probably without a CR box and a std dif though... good arguement to use to knock the price down..sorry Richard
) .. worth considering.

I was told by the tvr centre barnet, that tuscans go a lot better with the standard gearbox and diff.
certainly the acceleration feels livelier on my tuscan with standard set up then it used to in my Sag with CR box and leggy diff.
no noticeable difference at all in shift quality either.
So don't go dropping your price richard!
also I never got the point about the 'vert, all tuscans offer the full, widescreen convertible experience.
I'll accept that the rear screen is a bit more fiddly than the 'vert roof perhaps but the misleadingly named 'targa' looks much better in 'roof-up' mode. I had a stunning drive in mine the other weekend and it reminded me of why I sold the Saggy for it - it was everything I loved about the Sagaris but without the roof.
I'll admit the 'vert does look good roof down though.
