Fuel pump relay/ fusebox

My cars problem wasn't the imobilser, it seems to be an intermitant problem with the fuel pump relay, at the fusebox end as the fuel pump was checked earlier and works, has anyone had problems with damaged or corroded contacts in the fusebox?, I've ordered a new fusebox off another one that is breaking on eBay, if the fusebox is swapped over should it be ok then?, any other suggestions welcome

I replaced the fusebox in my T350 easy enough job all plugs are labeled and can only go in one way.
Is your windscreen leaking?
A corroded fusebox will cause all sorts of problems.

The car has just come to life waiting for the AA, got it home now, windscreen is fine, I've ordered a replacement fuse box, going to replace it and see if this cures the fault. All other fuses and circuits are fine, only the fuel relay one isn't.
To add it doesn't do what is discribed in the other topics, the engine doesn't misfire or do anything it shouldn't when the fuel pump works and has power going to it, the engine runs fine.

I had a similar problem and changed the relay only to find it was a fuse that had gone, but not the one I thought it should be. Anyway the problem was down to an earth lead coming a drift and the windscreen wipes when in use gave the impression of a misfire. Guess they may use the same earth? Anyway all sorted, but try running a temp earth from the fuel pump once you have check that all the fuses are OK of course and see if this solves the problem.
