Airbox Hose/Tube Connections

What purposes do the 1 large & 2 small hoses connected to the airbox serve?

As far as know.. The large one is an oil breather from your oil tank, the small tube that connects to the vacuum "gizmo" on the rail isn't in fact used it was never mapped in the ECU(When X-Works put a Carbon Airbox on, deliberately never bothered providing the connection)... It's for barometric pressure equalisation for altitude IIRC.

Have a look at this Topic from when I fitted my ACT carbon fibre airbox.

The other mod I've done is to put stainless steel compression joint on the oil tank and replace the Blue hose with braided hose. Also, as Nicks post says ,change the rivets on the airbox clips for stainless bolts,washers and nylocs. The hydraulic lock holes issue is something else to be considerd.

I don't understand this, what do you mean? Are you talking about 'air locks'?

As the air intake is at floor level on the Tuscan should you drive through deep water there are two holes in the bottom of the airbox to allow water out to prevent hydraulic lock of the engine.
