Anyone who saw my Tuscan at Supercar Sunday would have spotted that the rear panel of the Drivers seat is looking pretty sorry for itself.

Does anyone know where/if I can get a replacement?

Many thanks,

Tom

I've seen the bare fibreglass mouldings on TVR Power's site for about £80 each.

Tom.

I've reinforced mine in several places where the screws have pulled through and it's fairly straightforward using a combination of rivetted thin ali sheet and fibreglass so cracks shouldn't be a problem. Not sure if yours are covered with 'leather' though. Might look a bit scruffy if not biggrin

I have the carbon backs on my seats and agree they do look really good.

You can get them from Phil at Carbon Delight, there are pictures on his website

The only thing I would say is they are obviously more rigid than the normal seat backs. This means that they aren't a complete snug fit to the seat as the normal ones. I have a bit of a gap around the top of the seat back, something I can live with.

Is the gap at the top corners Martyn?

If so I had the same but managed to pretty much rectify it using some of the foam that came wrapped around them as packaging. I cut some pieces and pushed it up between the leather covering and existing foam to pad out the shoulders of the seat so the carbon back fits flush. It only took a few mins.

Yes it is at the top corners, thats a good idea about the foam packaging, I think I still have it with the old seat backs in

Might give it a go when the car comes out the garage next

I just replaced my seat backs with a pair ordered from Tony at HHC.

I could of gone for any option I wanted, bare, painted, Carbon or trimmed in leather.

I love the Carbon idea but didnt feel it would work with the Mulberry leather and the brass trimmings on the dash, so went for the leather trimmed option.

They turned up yesterday by courier and fitting them was a breeze. Tighter than the existng ones as they are fibreglass compared to the exisitng plastic, but a definite improvement.

Havent received the bill, but I am sure Tony will look after me since i will thoroughly recommend HHC once again wink

took some pics but cant upload from work.
