Front o/s indicator bulb went at the weekend. I gave it a bit of tap (with my fingers) and the whole unit fell into the wing!!!!

I understand that I have to take both bonnets off to get access to re-fix but I was wondering what I should use to re-glue it in place. It looks like Araldite was used previously and was hoping that someone could either confirm this or let me know what I should be using.

Thanks,

Jon

I had the same problem on mine. There is VERY little to stick it to in the wing. I used Sikaflex in the end http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&am...

Unfortuanately I made a bit of a mess with it so it doesn't look that great, but so far the light hasn't fallen out again. If there is a better way I'd love to hear of it though.

I used araldite when the same happened to mine. A couple of years later and it´s still attached.

Thanks for you help. As I've got Araldite I'll go with that.

I just used translucent silicone. It blends with the lens nicely
