Amused M Sport Coupe driver...
Discussion
Not often you see these on the road, but one just happened to be sat behind me as we entered a slip road to a Dual Carraageway this morning

So, well, yes it doesnt take much to guess we had a little 'play'...and to his amusement i managed to get the Tuscan slightly sideways on the slip road
Damn, You really do forget quite how quick these cars are until you nail them...i was still spinning in third...i should maybe grow up and learn to drive properly without spinning wheels...
...but then again both the BMW driver and i were grinning when we backed off and settled into traffic
I love it!
Great drive in but forgot the sunglasses, which isnt easy with the roof off and sun out!!

Tuscan quicker in a streight line as BMW is restricted, OK if your a Drag artist.
but BMW a lot more usable on a decent road, especialy if greasy or wet. Traction, stability breaking comfort, saftey, economy and reliability bells and whistles ease of driving. are all winnig factors of the German mass produced tin box i hate to have to admit

You forgot BORING!
And that's exactly why we all chose TVR over a BMW.
In our nanny state full of health & safety tosh and risk assessments thank god we still have choice.
The nice thing about choice is it doesn't have to be sensible.
I wouldn't mind betting that BMW owner was secretly wishing he had the balls to own a TVR.

You may have a number of valid points but all of them are boring!
If you learn how to drive a tvr properly, they are a barrel of laughs and just as fast in the wet! Yes you can scare yourself in them but that's half the fun is it not?
Hey guys this wasnt a BMW vs Tuscan thread!
It was the Z3 based M Coupe, which are rare, and pretty mental. I have always loved them! Yes, i did pull away but hey, i also had the tail wagging...im no driving god, it was just great fun
I have a driven a few Z's and i like them, but as said they are a different car, mainstream, which certainly isnt what i want in my toy...

Hmm....see where you are coming from here BUT on a Tuscan 3 I seriously think that there may be something wrong with your Geo/Suspension of this is the same in the dry. but BMW a lot more usable on a decent road, especialy if greasy or wet. Granted electronics do make for a fab safety net of you have taken far too many brave pills and exceed the talent quota for the day..
