Does anyone else have issues with the front centre catch opening when travelling on bumpy roads?
Was out yesterday and in the space of 5 miles it must have opened 30 times, its hard to concentrate on the road when your concerned the roof may open up!!
Suggestions please.

Take the roof and stow it in the boot!!!! boxedin

Sorry not much help but I would think that the front catch needs adjusting, it could be that it is too tight and not latching fully against the roof.

michael if it is the same as the MK1 the clip is on a thread & can be adjusted but the front lip pushes into the front screen & as long as the rear locking pins are engaged i dont see it will come out the griff/chim does not have one

Mine comes undone over big bumps, I got so fed up with it whilst away on a touring break I ended up buying a velcro tie to wrap around the catch as temporary measure, that was a few months ago now, probably time I adjusted it scratchchin Mind you the roof has been in the boot every outing recently so I've a valid excuse for not doing it biggrin
