they have fitted traject control loops in the road and a infra red camera.
yust had the first bunch of speeding tickets.
10 pieces and that won't be the end of it
drove that road every day and always to fast
the F**kers sent me the first bill after 2 month's
somebody on here with an extra weekend yob for me ?

we don't have a points system and it's in my neighbore country (belgium)
could "forget" to pay for the tickets because the 2 country's don't help each other in these matters.
then again
this won't really help
next time i pass through and they stop me the bill will be higher and i'll have to spend some holliday's in a BB without sun and internet

1.Give them another drivers name, in Germany then this people is responsible
and we are out of the shooting line!
2.Or deregister your car and make new registration after one week or so with
a new number on your wifes name!
When you drive the car never take your licence or passport with you then
they cannot identify you when drive in Belgium.
How much do they want?

pascalthing is that they have saved them up and then sent them all together in a big envelope
so they waited sending them till they had 10 of them together (from the month april).
and
they waited to send the envelope untill july ! that's sickening

i know i have to obay the rules but i only drive to fast overthere coming home from work (at 04.00 am)
what's the point of going 70 km's when you're the only one there (on a road going through the outskirts)

I'm very very sorry to hear that Rens. What a nasty way of the Belgiums gathering fines and then sending them.
I think we have to start a new project. 10 years ago I received a 812,= bill for speeding at night (180 km/h). Ever since I am thinking of a license plateholder that can be tilted downwards and then showing another license plate. The tilting should be actived by vacuum (from engine) or electrical and be operated by a switch under the dash.
It's quite a bit of engineering but could be done.

Two things you can "play" on.

According to the Belgian law, they are supposed to send you the written "proces-verbaal" within 14 days after the facts. Keeping back the fines, and sending them all at once, is not legal. By doing so, they lose the "bijzondere bewijswaarde" (special proof value for the UK guys) as they call it here, which means that it's up to the judge to decide whether or not he sues you.
Waiting for two months, means there can be a violation of the right of defense, meaning your case will most likely be "seponated". Should they decide anyway to not do so:
e. Samenloop van overtredingen wanneer de dader geen woonplaats of vaste verblijfplaats in België heeft
Artikel 5 van voormeld koninklijk besluit bepaalt:
“Indien de overtreder geen woonplaats of vaste verblijfplaats in België heeft en meerdere overtredingen bij dezelfde gelegenheid te zijnen laste zijn vastgesteld, mag de totale te innen som niet meer bedragen dan 750 euro”.
Deze som wordt beperkt tot 350 euro wanneer het uitsluitend gaat om meerdere zware overtredingen, van de eerste graad of om één of meerdere “gewone” overtredingen. De overtreding van artikel 34 §1 van de wet betreffende de politie over het wegverkeer (lichtste alcoholintoxicatie) wordt niet in aanmerking genomen voor de berekening van voornoemde maximumsommen.
In short for the English speaking: max charge is limited to 750 EURO, reduced to 350 EURO if the speeding doesn't exceed the speed limit with more than 10 KM/U...

the total of speedtickets has gone up to 17 already (all same traject)
have heard that if i have to appear in court that i have to come with a friend who is driving me in his car (in that way they can't confiscate one of my cars)and leave my drivers licence at home (only bring my passport).
