Hmm well I dont think these ones are good.

Just noticed them today, seem to get a vibration when pulling away, I can feel it through the pedels and the seat almost as if something is vibrating against the chassis. It also happens when accelerating from low revs in a low gear. I have just sat the car on the drive and gone though the whole rev range stationary out of gear and apart from a slight vibration at 2000rpm there seems to be no other noises.

I know its hard to describe on the forums but anyone had anything simular?

Last time I had a vibration through the pedels turned out to be engine mounts however I had new ones fitted 18 months ago.

if it doesn't happen while stationary, then i'd guess either gearbox mount, diff bolts or perhaps a wheelbearing.

Could still be engine mounts again as engine will move more when taking the stress of moving the car.

Can you take bonnet off and look as someone gets it moving slowly?

Sounds like the nearside engine mount has gone. When this happens the cats will drop sufficiently to touch the undertray sometimes causing a vibration. Worth a look.

If you've got cats in and haven't got the later full heat shielding, then 18 months is about right for the life expectancy of the NS mount from my experience.

I had the same in my 350 until my recent service where it was found the NS mount had perished. TBH I treat them as a 12k service item anyway.

took it for a spin yesterday and noise isnt there... which at least rules out things like diff bushes etc as I would have throught you would always hear them.

So what ever was causing the noise has either stopped vibrating or fallen off.
