Hi guys,

Sadly the time has come to sell the Tuscan... :-( but typically almost in a final attempt to stop me selling her she has developed a small window issue.

Drivers side. When pushing the mirror unlock button the window drops much lower than normal, then when door is closed only rises half way. Same thing when locking with remote - usually goes all the way up. Ony way to fully close window is ignition on, climb in passenger side raise window using controls, then jump out and lock..

Sorry if that didnt make sense - but grief does strange things!

Not much use to you but mine developed a similar trait. Self corrected after a month or two but I doubt you can wait.

When I got my Tuscan the passenger window was always a bit strange - similar to your problem. I "fixed" it by unplugging the window ECU (under the centre console, just in front of the gear stick). Disconnected for 30 secsonds then plugged back in. After that it seemed much better although still occasionally gets confused. There's one for each side so you can try swapping them over and see if the problem changes to the passenger side.

Certainly worth a try, if not look at the window encoder - search for TVR part number ME0424.
