Oil temperature sensor

Hi,

New to all this - bought my dream car at the weekend, now a proud owner of an '01 Tuscan S.

Noticed the oil temerature sensor doesn't read, but pressure is fine. Is this an easy fix?

Also, drivers door rattles on the cobbles - tried to get the door pocket off a la http://www.mytuscan.co.uk/problems_main.php#squeak... but my hand and allen keys are too big. Any suggestions?

If its the sensor, I believe its in the side of the oil tank at the bottom. (it is on the Tam anyway) I guess its easy enough to remove but you would need to capture and replace the oil that came out the hole. I would check the wires/connections to the sensor first might be even easier fix.

The door card allen screws are best taken off using a 1/4" drive rachet spanner with a 4mm (?) socket type allen key on an extension bar to clear the door card bolster.

I've got 3 screws on the passenger side and 2 drivers side.

Cheers guys,
I had two screws in both sides and an empty hole on both sides.
Both doors have been off and sprayed with silicon. Also removed a 20p which was probably to blame.
Oil sensor is probably a weekend job.
