Slightly ashamed to ask but......

I am awaiting the scorn, abuse, black balling etc but I vaguely remember a thread about turning the ashtray on a Mk1 into a cup holder. I drive my TVR’s whenever it is dry, small commute, twice weekly 100 mile round trip etc and there are times on the motorway, traffic etc when I would like to indulge in a little Java. Search cannot find the thread – any pointers.

BTW – The magic elixer SP spacers are on ebay, just ordered mine.

There are universal ones but I don't think the SP ones are on there (are they?)

I normally just take out the ashtray as use the hole as a cup holder.
