Just sold my 07 plate to a dealer. Got one derogatory offer from a dealer and one acceptable one. In my opinion a good offer meaning the car only lost £17k in 3.5 years.

Dealer has interesting plans for it so someone will get a very special car indeed once it's finished.

I'm changing back to a Noble but no doubt hang around this area like a bad smell.

for me it was an easy decision
i like to drive fast and the tuscan does this well but in my opinion there are far better cars when it comes to handling and balance than the tuscan (on high speed).
everytime i drove the car over 240km/h it scared the st out of me.
there's not enough downpressure on the front end, steering really gets to lite, and the back-end stays dodgy
the esprit handeld far better
i drove the noble once and find it a better drivers car
but
will never forget the experience and looks of my tuscan

Wouldn't use "epic" to describe the Tuscan.

Was always disappointed with it's overall abilities. Bought a VW Scirocco for the daily commute and was woke up to how bad the Tuscan was over country lanes. 3 attempts by 3 different outlets to setup the GEO by the way.

This Tuscan was my third and I would have kept it if it wasn't for the fact I wanted more of a track orientated car. Will miss the impact, the sound and the sunny day roof off moments.

Was a hard decision in the end and one which took me a long time to come to. One drive in a Noble to remind me of how good they are done it.

lucazade what sort of money are the 07 worth? ad where was suitable to advertise it? i have a mk3 tagra s that i was going to chop up for a project but dont have time so im thinking of desposing of it.

Must say I'm surprised guys. With the right dampers/spings and set up at least the MKII should be great over country roads and solid at high speeds. Mine is anyway and that is still on standard tires.

Nobles are great drives but there are so ugly (sorry). And a Mondeo engine ...
Why not go for a R8, Gallardo or V8V?

Did the max to improove the handling of my car but still wasn't enough for me
and youre right about the noble beiing an ugly basterd but the handling is spot on
(R8, Gallardo or V8V) wouldnt spend that kind of money on a toy and like to improove cars
i wouldnt dare to take a gallardo apart

I'm with rens I never managed to get mine setup correctly. Even after 3 outlets looked at it with billsteins or gaz golds.

Ride height was either too high that it looked like it was on stilts OR was too low and caught everything.

Agreed Noble is ugly but I do like the road presence of them.

Not interested in an Audi - can't stand the arrogance of the dealer network.
Had a Aston V8 Vantage and for 6 months I got to drive it 3 weeks of that. It was always getting fixed.

If you want the car really sorted for track you have to buy better dampers, 2 way Nitron/Ohlins at the very least then set up by someone who really knows what they are doing.


Budget Dampers are no good for hard track work.

had my damper/springs specially made for me and the set-up was great with semi-slicks. decatted and chip'd spoilers front and back. so seen it done it.
handling get's better but never spot on and the car never gives you a confident feeling on high speed (that's +200 km/h).
every porker feels better, the lotus is a blessing in compare and the noble is from another planet
sure there are even better cars but they are out of my price range

Haven't tried top speed yet but must say that at 150 mph my car feels very stable. Better tires (R1R's) with 225 fronts (now 255) still to come.

Guys I appeared to be putting a downer on things and I'm not meaning to. I will miss my Tuscan as it was the only TVR I've owned that was 100% reliable. The car was brilliant in every department apart from handling.

I'm sure if I had spent more on suspension it would have yielded better results. I guess with a good offer from a dealer and the craving for another Noble it was a good time to move it on.

No doubt I'll miss the noise and outlandishly gorgeous looks.
