...driving to work this morning with that nagging restraint that you cant floor it...the roads are greasy and have that horrible film just lying there, goading you to spin the rear wheels up.....

Three overtakes at half throttle....its just not the same!! hehe

Trouble is the vision of my arse overtaking my head and impending doom through a nearby hedge is pretty powerful...

I know the feeling. Almost a year to the day I had a spin in the G33 on exactly the same greasy roads. Just taken the Tuscan 20 miles to David Gerald for some niggles to be fixed, and I was very careful. The Mrs still said I was quite quick though, she was follwing in her Subaru which has 3.0l boxer engine and 4wd, she wasn't keeping up with me even on roundabouts where I am extra extra extra careful.

Nice looking Tuscan. Do you use David Gerald much? I have just bought the Tuscan so its my first foray to TVR dealers. They seem pretty helpful so far.

I used them when i had my cerb and although helpful and friendly they always seemed to be after work, so in my opinion their advice was, at times, given with artistic licence!

My advice would be to use Dom at TVR power or Jason at Str8 Six, they are the best around and both within about an hours drive smile (although you would have to put your foot down to get to Jason that quick hehe )
