Warning EFI Fault

Have searched the forums for a fix but, while I sort a cable and set up a laptop this week, is there an easy way to reboot the ECU.

At battery box, fuse board or behing pedals?

Car runs fine.

Also have a Code O which needs some explaining.

I sometimes get code O on start up but it goes as soon as I turn the key. I have tended to ignore it, should I be paying it more attention?

I used to get code E too, just filled the tank and code E has gone

I had the intermittent "warning EFI Fault" aloing with the annoying warning buzz. Turned out to be a dodgy Lambda Sensor. Was using more fuel as well, which makes sense if you think about it.

Mine has this intermittently now - No errors before starting, all sensors working. But pretty much as soon as engine is started I get "!Warning! EFI Fault", which occasionally flickers to normal when driving.

Loose connection do you think? Is it worth getting a diagnostic cable?

I get code 0 also, think it's a comms fault, clears immediately on start up, I wouldn't worry about it.

I used to get an intermittent efi fault and it turned out to be a dodgy connection in the cooling fan's spade connectors. Fixed the connectors and never had the efi fault since. Unlikely to be the same problem but shows that almost anything, no matter how strange can cause it!

Mine only appears on start-up, and hardly ever goes while driving...
Don't seem to get a Code O either.

aah ok, i get all sorts on start up and have come to the conclusion that it's not worth worrying about. i tend to take much more notice if something goes whilst driving but even then, only worry if it's a recurring fault.

Fault is there all the time now, so cant check temps etc while driving.

Have reset the fault codes via a diagnostic cable but it returns.
The software is only logging a fault intermittently with the water temp sensor.

How easy is it to get to this (I might need a lot of hand-holding)?
I see a new one is less than £20.
