Anyone know what happened to this car? I remember taking it for a drive when it was at Team Central in Brun=m whilst having my old S serviced. What were the differences between that model and the one finally released?

Yep, it was an unusual version. Also sat on 16" wheels too which actually looked good then. I remeber being stared at driving round Birmingham, people wondering what on earth they had just seen.

I remember it being quick and actually quite well put together.

When we got back to Team Central I then had a barney as they had "serviced" the car and not really done anything to it! They drove me up the wall those guys, never forget Adrian the "Service Manager"!

Interesting grille. Kind of like the T350 with inlets at either side. Wonder why they went for the cheese grater for the final release?

Same as the one i have in a Autocar mag nov 88?
It had the lights housed in the rear roll bar and a much bigger service bonnet, interior is not the same as the relese model.

Here we go!

It really did drive well on those 16" wheels!!

I remember it turned up at Christopher Neil's after Team Central ceased trading looking fairly reasonable, considering the hammer it had!

It's here with my Chim

Hi Tom,

Visited Christopher Neil recently and i think it's the same car that is sat on the mezzanine level in their showroom.. May be wrong though.

Cheers,
