I'm conscious that the brake lights are low down and given weather getting worse a high level brake light wouldn't be a bad thing.

has anyone her got any experience of doing this, and a suitable light/mounting method? Was thinking of adding it under the roll hoop.

TIA

Your Tuscan must be a very early one, mine has one fitted as standard, 2001MY. Best bet would be to try and get one from a breakers Yard as it might come with all the fixings etc needed.

The 3rd high level brake light phased in as part of standard factory build from late '51' to '02'-ish plate Tuscans - I have a distant memory of seeing them introduced around then.

There was a Tuscan post on this some time back where an aftermarket unit was fitted, but can't find it. Similar thread relating to same mod done in a Cerbera here:

I just bought a cheap one from Halfords. Took the mounting bracket off and velcroed it up under the hoop. Not high tech and it still needs fettling to make it look a bit more "factory", but for now it's fine. Nowhere near as professional as the one in that other thread though.
