Tuscan 2 Clutch Problem

Hello all, I've noticed recently that as my Tuscan 2 warms up the transmission of power from engine to wheels seems to be delayed. The sensation is similar to driving an old automatic car in that the engine revs and responds immediately to the accelerator but the clutch feels like it's slipping and power isn't being distributed to the rear wheels immediately. I don't have any trouble changing gears or selecting gears. So i wonder if it's the friction plates or springs? Has anyone had a similar experience- I'll take the car in to a specialist anyway but would be interested in finding out what the problem could be and what a reasonable quote to fix it would be, or if i might need a completely new clutch.
