RE. ultimate trickle charger?
Discussion
Fitted an accumate which plugs in via connection plug terminating next to oil filler (check oil after a run and plug in accumate then). Wired direct to battery through sleeving and in line fuse to avoid possible short) Check battery and battery cables while you`re in there!
Car came with solar charger when I bought it which the previous owner always used but now garaged so no good for me.

I still think an accumate via the ciggy lighter is the best option... I've an Anderson lead for the Tuscan and its a pig to plug it in and my Chim has a built in Accumate in the boot and thats a pain... I drove off once with it still plugged in
Exactly .. why bother with any other method

Did the same thing with my chim, snapped the extention cable I was using in half...
Out of interest where is the best place to get an accumate, as left the one in my chim when I sold it?
Try Leven Technology in Essex.

I have an Accumate plugged in through ciggie lighter and been using it for 6 years. It is superb. Just started my Tuscan on first turn of starter after being laid up for more than 4 months!!
Highly recommended.
