Rear facing air vent

Actually managed to get the car out for a run on sunday, however with carpets being a bit damp with bad weather rear screen fogged quite quickly. How much air flow is usual to come from this vent as mine seems to be nearly nothing, unless there is some setting on the heater I'm missing?

From memory the rear vent doesn't output much air, I certainly don't think it would offer enough to demist the rear screen. It is also possible the hose which the air flows through from the front of the car (gearbox area) to the rear vent may have become detached. It was on my Tuscan. It' easy to remove the tunnel to have a look see, I think there are two screws either side of the gearstick beside your knee, and the other one is actually in the rear vent I think. ONce they are out the tunnel will lift up and allow you to explore!!

It is a pretty feeble flow - but detectable - just with the hand. At least, it is on my Tuscan!

I guess, after about 20-30 mins in these temperatures, I'm getting a clear circle (about 150mm dia.)in an otherwise misted rear screen.

As mentioned, I'd lift the tunnel trim and see if the plastic hose is connected.

Cheers, will pull it apart apart and have a look. There is definately a very slight airflow, but didn't know if it was supposed to be a similar force to the dash vents.

My rear air vent gives just a trickle but it demists the rear screem very quickly, circa 3 mins from completely fogged to completely clear. Its even faster with the air con on
