Hi all,

My insurance runs out at the end of the month and im on the hunt to find the cheapest quote. So far the best i have been quoted is nearly £1000 frown

I read somewhere that using kitcar insurers is alot cheaper? Does it actually work out cheaper doing it through the TVRCC?

Im 23 and live in the best postcode but barely drive the car so £1000 is a bit much seeing as it only comes ouy a couple of times a month at most!

Many thanks
Sam

Try speaking to Matt at Henderson Taylor. He's done a few great quotes recently including my Tuscan, significant savings and lower excess too. thumbup

Mannings Insurance just beat my last years premium by approx £100. £500 excess though, may be worth giving them a call as appear to be tvr friendly. If not sure they would be able to advise a company to try

All covered above really. The main ones are MSM, Mannings, Henderson Taylor & Classicline.

Mannings were competitive for me but I went with Henderson Taylor who were cheaper. Trackday cover included too.

+1 for Mannings, very good quote. I live in North Hants, near Fleet, whereabouts are you?

I'm sure you have to be 25 to jump on a 'tvr' policy

As your car is now 10yrs old you should be able to get classic insurance with limited mileage from Mannings.

Paid 500 at 27, didn't think was too bad!

Having phoned lots of places over the past week I'll be moving to Henderson Taylor who were a lot cheaper than anywhere else for the cover I needed :
Not garaged, to and from work, repairer of my choice in event of accident.
