Not really, although I do have a spare in the boot. Is there a problem with the cable on the one you are picking up?

No mate not at all, I've just read a thread where someone keeps a spare throttle cable behind there tuscans seat, (and you keep one in your boot lol).

Edit: just checked your car out Devil, loving that colour.

The first 2 things I ordered for my Tuscan were a spare throttle cable and 125amp fuse. Fortunately in 2 years I never needed them, but I always carried them in the door pocket.

I wouldn't fancy trying to change it myself in the dark or bad weather though, but I thought it might get me on the way again quicker if I had to call the AA.
Ha ha, exactly my thinking....

I carry one, but have never needed it. Happened to get it cheap on ebay. I don't carry any tyre weld, but do keep some usual tools in the boot. I also carry some oil and water. Need to get a spare 125a fuse.

Had to do this with the assistance of the AA last sunday week in the dark and rain. Not fun but took about an hour.

+1 and jump leads with an anderson connector.

You need to know if you have an old or a new throttle cable bracket - makes a difference to which cable you need. I've actually just got the throttle cable repair kit which is just the cable not the sleeve etc. Apparently it's easier to fit in emergencies and get you going again - 'just' threads through the existing outer. But would probably need to be replaced with a new full cable after.

Mines a oringinal type bracket, if/when the cable goes I'll replace the cable and bracket with the new version which is better designed with less chance of the cable snapping
