Has anyone else had trouble with their seatbelts? I went to puty mine on earlier today, but I couldn't free it. It felt like the inertia would not disengage. While investigating the problem, I found out that the passenger one was the same. I put the car back in the garage and now the drivers belt is working again. Very frustrating. Any thoughts?

They All Do That Sir.

It depends if you've parked on a slope - caused by the angle at which the reels are mounted, same in most TVRs, or at least it's the same in my Tuscan as the Griff before it! It probably explains why they freed up when you got into the garage.

Ah. Sounds likely as I've got a very steep drive. Thanks for that.

Mine did it last week, got out to check something then it wouldn't work. Freed it up and it was fine.

Yes I have had this too but found a solution. If you take the seat belt out and remove one of the two metal pawls/fingers which are inertia driven on to the toothed fly wheel then the problem stops but the belt keeps working as it should.

Yep, parking on a slope always causes this with mine
