Bonjour All,

Does anyone know where I can get a seat backing for the Tuscan? Racing green have them, but their £90!!

Also, while im here, my shift light pod is loose, does anyone know how to tighten it? Is it just a a case of twisting the metal rod in the middle?

Graze,

Brad,

'Where' £90?

Sounds reasonable to be honest.

after much searching on the interweb for a replacement for my broken seat back the cheapest i could find, with actual stock, was, and it hurts to say, was racing green for £90.

dont be alarmed when they bring out some dusty old seat back that looks like its been in storage for years then kicked around the car park in their lunch break, was the best i could find.

didnt know what silver TVR painted mine so the new one and the removed old one were painted the same colour as the car, looks bloody awesome

Brad are you changing it because it has slit around the fixings under the Tuscan badge ? If so i cut 2 pcs of 0.8mm fibreglass board used for pcb's drilled both & the seat back epoxied one each side & pop rivetted in place lovely & solid now i must admit i thought about getting some routed & making a repair fit up as they would be worth fitting to a good seat to make it stronger as the standard type of fixing on ABS plastic does not spread the load enough.

Sounds like it's a common problem, my drivers one is knackered as well, have used a strip of ally pop riveted until I can get the carbon ones.
