After spending all of saturday polishing the new beast (6 hours with scratch X and paint cleaner, 4 hours polishing then waxing all with magauire stuff.. and thanks to Pies for all the advice, it now looks like a mirror.. well worth spending the time doing), I finally got
out in it this morning for the first serious run.
After first stopping at the local newsagent for a bar of chocolate, and having 15 kids round it by the time I got out the shop ! :-)
Bloody hell, it's awesome!! I couldn't get my head round it at first until I realised I was in my fireblade.. it just had a roof.
Throttle response and braking are very very similar.. even the handling if that makes any sense.
Once I stopped expecting it to behavelike a car, it was soooo good.
Man, the acceleration, the brakes... the noise (had roof off!). little gaps in traffic.. damn not enough space to overtake, wish I was on bike.. oh wait I sort of am.... blaaaaaa.. and safely back in. hoo ha!!
Still trying to get used to the turn in. It's just so precise!
