JUst got the car back from service - it been bringing up code "g", and the water temp doesn't seem to be reading.

Is this a wait and it'll go a way, or a take back and get sorted type thing?

Cheers all

I would take it back. It may encourage them to do it properly next time. The car should be tested before returning it to the customer IMO.

Water temp circuit open. I would get it done in case the ecu tries to read the water temp, however I have no idea if that is actually the case.

Sorry to hijack thread but code C;
C - Water level sensor not activating zero switch
In real language would this mean it would be open circuit?

Had this code for years, It doesn't cause any problem. I've been told this code is caused by the dash LCD unit and can only be clear if the LCD is fixed.
