I broke the wiper

I forced it against the motor while trying to tidy up the windscreen washers. Only on one wiper but it's gone all limp.

Anyone know a simple fix for this, preferably without taking the bonnet off?

Sounds like you've popped off the drive arm. That's a bonnet and scuttle panel off job. But then you can tidy the washer hoses much easier. It's really not a complicated job to sort out.
