What's with this white one?

Does anyone know this car:
http://pistonheads.com/sales/2736502.htm
Nice color.
And a cheap price.
Maybe would be nice with a 4.5 rebuild?
Thanks.

This was on ebay for 10k a few weeks ago and didn't sell, although that was a private seller. Going from memory the ebay ad seemed genuine, and there were several photos of the car being rebuilt/painted etc however no mention of any names of known TVR businesses.
I wouldn't say it's a no-goer... but I would get one of the well known places to give it a once over, and only consider it if you have all of the right paperwork and receipts/photographs of the damage/rebuild.
On the other hand... I saw one in white and it does actually look quite good!

Pictures do look very good indeed.
If on closer inspection the car has been repaired properly, and the engine is healthy (and I would only confirm this by having one of the know specialists to check it out), and if of course you don't care that the car is Cat D, haggle a bit with the price and you could end up with a bargain!
It's all a matter of personal preference, in my opinion. Good luck...

Strongly recommend you have it inspected by a TrackVRoad or Str8Six equivalent establishment. I looked at a Cat-D 'Condition Reinspected' car the other week, and found one or two things that needed putting right that I would not have known about had I just relied on photo's talking to the seller, and the person who did the repairs...
