Newark - a success!?!?!?
Discussion
Hi all! Just back from newark!! In my opinion a good show!! A good turn out in jago's!! Over the 2days I counted 11 geeps including my own and a samuri(techsec's "panther" obviously) could have been a few more parts stalls! Shame about no club tent "again" and no merchandise "again"!! Will I ever get my hands on a jago top
*sigh*??? Thanks to Dave, Jan and Ian for a laugh filled night in the site club(even if was at the expence of others and there failed attempts at plastic pint glass towers)
As before ive taken a pile of pictures of all the jago's (and 1 honorary member in his dallas jeep) that were at the show!! I will be putting them on the yahoo site again as we dont seem to have a place to put piccy's on here!! The site if you dont already know is:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/jago/
I will hopefully get them uploaded by tonight so u can see them tomorrow!!

Too right!!! A lot of fun in good company- thanks Mal, Stacey, Dave & Jan. All ably assisted by "Monarchy", a half-decent (IMNSHO) Queen tribute band. I thought the National Kit Car Festival a little thin on traders' stands, I was expecting another Stoneleigh in that respect but the turnout was good (another thank-you to the Panther Bros. and all other Jago-ers present). Super to get a show sticker and plaque foc though. I bought my usual stash of stainless steel fasteners but wanted some vinyl for a tonneau and some manufacturer's overalls as seen at Stoneleigh.
Having recounted the weekend's events to all indoors, they were surprised that there was so much going on as well as the kit car theme. They are now thankful that we haven't a large enough garden for a thimble-drone track... what super little toys.
All the best until the next one.

Hi
Glad to hear everyone had a great time.
I was thinking on trying to get everyone together for a group piccie as well. But I too forgot.
I wonder what the piccie of mal could be?
What I plan to do re having a gallery as the mobit one seems to have crashed is when my server computer gets back from having a bigger drive fitted is I will add a page to the technical site and if the pictures on the yahoo forum are "snatchable" copy them onto the page other wise I will set the page up with a link to have the piccies e-mailed here so i can then load them onto the page via the zip drive.
How does that sound?

luckily i still havnt gt the cable and the camera together mal but its sure to happen [unless fivers get sent to brum pdq lol] good idea techsec would be pretty cool to create a scrapbook of past and present jagos and owners perhaps? nope poppers not fitted in fact nothing done yet cept go to work
but tomorrow will be lengthening back roof rod to gain a little more tension if not enough then cutting and inserting a threaded rod and 2 nuts. whens harrogate?

spent a while today identifying the clutch cable and throttle cable for jamies westfield think i have them right 16 quid for the 2 cables and a fanbelt he's lucky i work in a carspares shop. i like blue wolf as a name. and it'll please granddaughter stacy hmmm come sit on my knee little girl [wicked evil laughter] next time we are gonna be together if anyone wants anything car spares wise give me a few days notice to confirm prices etc eg a case of 4 gallons of 10/40 semi synthetic vauxhall oil is 15.96 plus vat we can have a little hassle with some old stuff but if it can be got we will have a try seeya all soon
yeah i think a page or page's for pictures would be great chris
!! im sure that plenty of us have many pictures to share!! i know i have nearly 200 pictures or all different jago's ive found over time!! mostly 1's that have been for sale on ebay and ive copied the pictures! gathering idea's on what looks good and that!! Yes stacy is well happy with the name blue wolf!! wish i hadn't let her drive it over the weekend! everytime i turn my back now she's out driving up the lane
!! its costing me a fortune in fuel!! which means unfortunatly i dont have the cash to buy my pics from you Dave, so i guess il have to grin and bare it
!!

yes still got my aerodynamic aid on my wheel lol
awwwww sowwwy stacy [teach her to call me grandad hahahahah] same here only got the side of mine in taking a pic of others off to devon friday afternoon - a place called marlborough somewhere near salcombe should be fun - staying in a mates thatched cottage and doing a little work on the hood of his boat - just replacing poppers and drinking [of course] pubs about 10 feet from the cottage so you can bet i'll be in a similar state to last saturday. are there any devonish jagos??? if so look out for mine with lime green wheels might take enough tools to fit the new poppers on mine while i'm there if it stops raining!!
take care good jagoers!!

went to devon 6pm friday had my door off till sedgemore services where i needed fuel [no 4star mine loves 4 star] noticed a trail of "stuff" was auto fluid panic time [sigh] bought a litre was over 7 quid [sigh again] noticed it only leaked on the over run so left foot braked the other 100 miles and kept the torque converter under load got there. drank beer. checked auto box fluid next day read over full????? [more panic] stayed in idylic thatched cottage but had to help move rubbish put up flat packs [too wet and windy to fix boat hood] went to pub at 4ish got plastered [again] went to a lovely cove ate something and had more lovely beer went back to idylic cottage slept well
worked a bit more sunday but weather better - looked at boat from shore ate well then went home drove gently till nmacdonalds services at cullumpton - no leakage hmmmmm more confused batted on upto 75-80 ish [95-100 on speedo - 25% optomistic] till we stopped for fuel near birmingham more fluid pissing out ahhhhh overfilled when hot ejects excess i think [hope] any ford c3 experts out there???
anyway got home safe devon twice stoneleigh and newark thats around 1000 miles and i dont drive gently including towing that e-type replica - the cars doing brilliantly as a 300 quid bargain still not fitted poppers yet but pint glass was still in place on the spare wheel last time i looked!!!
a merry jago weekend!!
seeya soon folks
