I will shortly be in the position to buy a car, I have been around the loop of conventional (boring) cars and now find myself looking a 4x4's (in particular landrover 90's) but have always liked the look of the Jago. I need something I can drive straight off so something that is sorted but I am happy to do maintenance. Need a towbar too and at least 1.6 engine (1.8 diesel would be better.....). What are these like to live with? -are they suitable for everyday motoring? is insurance reasonable (no no-claims, company car last 8 years....)

Any help /info would be appreciated.

Andy.

Regards what they are like to live with and use every day look on the FAQ page of the technical web site

Personally we use a Jago 365 days a year and have done so for the past 10 years and so long as you ensure the heater works well (preferably blowing at the windscreen) and don't mind basic motoring then it is the vehicle for you.

Regards possible vehicles check out the adverts page on the Transmissions web site
