After much deliberation I have finally decided that the Geep must go............It is a Jago as per the V5, built in 1982 with an 1100cc Ford unit and 4-speed transmission. Hard top and hard doors, new front calipers and pads, new heater hose, starter, gear lever assy., interior and exterior mirrors, steering rack gaitors (x2) and replaced most of the metal brake pipes. Runs like a dream and driven around the estate most weekends. The clutch has started to slip - it MAY be due to lack of running over the winter - and needs the seats removing to have spreader plates put underneath (I have the blanks). Not MOT'd and SORN-declared. I wanted it running by Easter but have run out of time and don't want it sitting around for another winter - it is too good for someone not to be enjoying it. I'm in the SE of England and looking for around £350. Pictures available. This is a great Geep (registered with the owners club) if someone has a garage and maybe 2-3 weekends to finish the restoration.
