new log book regulations.....r u up 2 date??

Hi all, i just discovered something from a friend of mine who own's a car forcourt and i feel it is worth warning you guys as i'd hate for u all to loose you pride and joy's!!

ok, from the 1st of july, if you havnt got a new style log book (blue fronted that folds open like a book) then your car will be nothing more than scrap! apparently if anybody hasnt changed there log book from any of the other older style's then they will no longer replace for the newer one's!!

so if any of you lot have a geep/sandero,sami or whatever that doesnt have the new style log book,
now is the time to dig it out and fill it in and send for the new one!!

1st july dead line! im not sure if its on the dvla website but my friend gets news letters stating new laws and stuff!

ok quick update, just read through dvla site!! doesnt say much in the way of your screwed if u dont have a new one but will cause lots of hassle in future!

I was planning on putting this subject on the forum. Now I don't have to.

Yeap folks it is important to get the old V5's sent in so the new V5C can get sent out.
It is also a good time to check all the details are correct on the old V5.
