seem to remember a thread not so long back which developed into a discussion about the merits of anti-tramp
I have been offered a pair from a mkII mexico- how are they added to the jago setup?
quick answers if possible please

the difficult bit is mounting the chassis end of the bars.

the axle end is straight forward you just weld / bolt the brackets to the axle. for the chassis end you'll need to fabricate somthing, which will probably involce some welding...

the escort chassis brackets will be no use to you.

IMHO its well worth it though. the biggest difference i found was under hard braking more than anything else. The car is much more controlable. its also better under acceleration

Sedgy fitted some spax shox and a "helper" spring made from a pair of mark 1 springs off my scrapper and that has helped loads with his tramp problems as he like me has single leaf rears.

Not the perfect solution I must admit but got to be easier than pulling out half-shafts etc etc.

driven loadsa mk 1 and 2 escorts tramp free
geep should be less prone - its lighter
BUT...... and theres always a BUTTTT
no anti roll bar
i think although not meant as anti tramp it does it on escorts
as long as you arn't using it off road which would damage the rear axle articulation
mines auto so prolly wouldnt be that usefull offroad anyway
any geeps fitted with rear anti roll bar????
