Help please!

Got a little frustrated when I tried to search the Jago forum for past topics. The options that come up seemed to show every forum except the Jago one. There must be a simple way of searching within this forum... must not there?!

Is it me? Am I doing something wrong? I tried a few things but just seemed to go around in circles.

I've never tried searching for a topic on here until now (having read your posting) and quite frankly...wished I hadn't. So, until someone who is more au fait with things come on here and tells all, I can't help you.
Until such times both you and I are enlightened by a wise one, you'll have to go into 'driftwood mode' and pop your question to the mass's and hope someone knows the answer or directs you to whereabouts it is on the Forum. (usually me or one of the regulars remembering that they had seen the answer on the forum back in such and such etc.)

So Ballbearing....what do you want to know mate

Hi the way I have found that seems to work for me is to click on either "my topics" or better still for a full listing click on "forum home" from a Jago subject such as this thread. The "forum home" option then should give you a full list of all Jago forum topics posted on here (currently it is saying it is 53 pages long)

Hope that helps.

Looking for nothing in particular at present Driftwood, just thought I might be asking questions that had been asked time and time before, and so thought I'd do a 'search' before I start annoying people.

As you obviously found out, taking the logical step via the 'search' gets you nowhere fast. Will try the techsec method when I get a minute.

Thanks guys.

Hi Techsec, tried that and yes able to access all pages, painstakingly one at a time. However, it's a very time consuming manual search that might end up a fruitless, waste of time and effort. Just seems strange that there is not some sort of automated 'topic' word search! I guess it's in keeping with our super basic, non-hightech Jagos! lol.

Good point I'll ask Petrol Ted if we can be added to the search list, or have our own search
