Anyone got any Wellers going cheap?

Ok, my black Sam has the big 275/60 15 General Grabbers on the 15 x 8" Wellers. While they look the part, I don't fancy having to buy a new set! I'm also a little worried about the long term strain on steering and, carrying such a big spare is just not practical.
Now, I'm particularly concerned about not carrying a spare, so I'm fabricating a wheel support from tubular steel that will hinge over the boot of the Sam.
Basically then, I need a spare wheel. But as I intend to go over to narrower tyres when the present big fellas are threadbare it's the 14" x 6" wheels I'm after. A set of 5 14" x 6" Wellers then would be ideal, but I'd settle for just a spare for now.
So, anyone got any knocking about that want to sell? Not too worried about the cosmetic condition, don't have to be Wellers as long as they the PCD is correct. Oh... they do have to be round!
By the way, techsec, any news on instructions for setting up the Tartarini RP/77 LPG reducer?

Why not consider Colway MT remoulds??? See some on mine at Donington. 255/75 x 15 cost £47.60 each. The AT pattern which is similar to the Grabber is even cheaper and comes in a range of profiles so you could tune the gearing as well.

I'll have a look at Donnington, hopefully - Sams in for MOT Tuesday!
But its not just the cost issue, as I mentioned its carrying a bloody massive spare that concerns me most. I just think that the 14" spare will be more practical to fit on the boot frame - not sure I'll be able to see much out of the rear window with a 15" 255 strapped to the back!
Anyone know what the minimum practical tyre width for the 8" rim is? And, what the maximum practical tyre width for the 6" rim is?
And, do I take it that modern front wheel drive Ford wheels are not compatible with our rear wheel Jagos because of a different wheel offset? So, I need to be careful that I get the correct wheels?

When I was looking for tyres for my 8x15's, I tried various tyre dealers etc., and the advice I got ranged from absolute bol(derdash)s to good advice and service........Mark is at the top end of my the scale.

I run 195's on 6x14's , Sedgy has 205's which are at the limit I would say
Sadly most good looking wheels around these days are FWD so choose with care or you may need some serious spacers on the front to clear the struts and inner wings.
I had to fit 1" spacers just to get standard Escort RWD donor rims on the front of a Geep because of the revised suspension geometry , not sure how different it would be on a Sammi.

was looking what to do with my sammi spare too 245 60 15 - same thoughts hinged over boot etc
then i had a thought why not get a space saver and am looking to source one at the moment - if its good enough for modern cars why not?
old 900 saab seem to have had same stud pattern and also later smiley fronted scorpios have 4 stud wheels maybe later 2.8 capris some of which had 14 and 15 inch wheels other wise check ebay reader and various small ads - good luck

funny you should say that, I've been mulling over things for the past few days and have come to the same conclusion as you after looking through the tyre size chart provided somewhere above.
I do happen to have 1 brand new 6" x 14" Weller that I now intend to strap to the back of the Sam.
Putting on the right size tyre will provide me with the same overall rolling circumference as the 15's, but not be so ungainly on the boot. Obviously it will only come into play in emergencies and just serve as a "get you out of the shit substitute" in case of a puncture, so... why not!
