i have just aquired a type 9 gearbox for a cvh engined sierra (similar to old pinto gearbox but different bellhousing, so will fit the jago straight off), going to look at an 1800 efi ford orion tommorow, not completely sure if the fwd cvh in the orion will fit the sierra rwd cvh box, but i spose there is just one way to find out, engine mounts'll need some sorting, but thats not too hard to do.
the electrics are going to be tricky, but thats more my field.

the rwd cvh is only available in carb version, unless there is a injection model if there is its rare, so the escort is a required option for efi.

page bookmarked, quite usefull, stuff on oil sump i didn't know or the sierra box overstrokes the clutch, flywheel spigot support i allready found out.
tother thing i noticed was the exhaust in on the other side than the kent and the pinto, very usefull as getting the manifold away from the steering shaft isn't a problem.
oh and the sierra cvh box is exaclty the same as the pinto one.
cheers, sean.
