Speedo Cable - Moprod MSD516

Hi All
I've just replaced the speedo cable that connects a standard Escort Mk1 cluster to a Ford gearbox (fits 4 or 5 speed).
It's a Moprod cable and the part number is MSD516 and there's a bar code 011454 135472. My local spares shop had it on the shelf !!!

on the note of speedo cable's and stuff doe's anybody know of any after market speedo pods that will wire straight in to the exsisting ford cable?? my geep has a metro pod in it and looks bit sad and im wanting to put in some aftermarket pods. but ive been told that some pods arnt compatable with the ford cable!! can any body help me?? any help would be appreciated!!

Quite a few of the after market speedos use the knurled nut set up so the cable has to be Ford at the gearbox end and the threaded nut at the instrument end.
Places like Europa can get the suitable cables either from stock or by order to allow for such set ups.
