So if anybody had read, my last post about checking a coil. They would find that i was also tryin to fix my exhaust on.
Well today the job has done, but as i said before i was having problems making it fit. So i decided to bring it out of the side.
To do this i have only used 1 silencer and no exspansion box, will this be ok.
Last time i asked a mot man about the rules he said, he checks it for Safety, no=leeking, secure, and that its not mega loud, which mine is all of those and not loud.
Do we think it shall pass?
cheers

Hi JtheJB
All of my jeeps (3 so far) have had exhausts exiting just in front of the nearside rear tyre. Make sure that the tail pipe does not protrude beyond the side of the body work. I generally use the tail silencer from a multi-box system as these are usually NOT straight through so silence effectively. My current one uses a Renault 25 V6 tail silencer mounted upside down. The pipe angle is perfect. Only problem is the cost (~£70) but as I had it in the garage at the time...
Good Luck
