Hi All
Received my insurance renewal today from F**tm*n J*m*s at £130 fully comp. OK so I have a lot of NCB, wrong side of 40 and a 3000 mile limit. However a clause (which luckily doesn't apply to me) has crept in such that "Insurers will not pay for any theft or malicious damage that occurs between 10pm and 6am if your vehicle is not in a locked garage at... your home or any other address...agreed by us". So if you have a dubious postcode (rather than a semi-rural Oxfordshire one) your cover could start to leak. It could also affect you when staying overnight at shows. Check your "small print".

That clause has been around for a while it just that the insurance companies are possibly trying to comply with the "Crystal Clear" guidelines for official bumf that it is coming more apparant.
Like you say though it does raise questions regards cover when at shows etc.
